node.js - Node Package Summary Badges -

as learn node.js, 1 thing has jumped out of me use of badges on package pages. example of such badges can seen here. badges i'm referring build status, coverage, , npm module number. i'm curious these badges.

are these badges provided single entity? or, standard format various entities have decided standardize on? there other informational badges available?

they're images provided ci (continuous integration) systems, in case travis ci. other ci systems, like jenkins, provide badges too; they're meant embedding. there's no "standard format."

i imagine they're inspired real-life build light indicators.
